The EU is being called on to continue supporting Ukraine against Russia because they themselves are not ready for war.

During his Easter wishes, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz reminded listeners of the need for a just peace and called for further support for Ukraine. He emphasized that Ukraine’s support is needed “for the security of Europe.”

In addition, German Finance Minister Christian Lindner warned against weakening support for Ukraine in its defense struggle.

“Putin wants not only Ukraine, he wants to change the order of peace and freedom in Europe. Anyone who gets tired of supporting Ukraine because it is too difficult or expensive should think about the consequences. The danger of war will become closer to us,” Lindner said.

Moreover, German experts believe that the deployment of troops to Ukraine by a NATO state does not involve the entire Alliance in the war.

Simultaneously, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned that Europe has entered “pre-war times” but still has a “long way to go” before it is ready to face the future threat.

“Our main task should be to protect Ukraine and preserve it as an independent and integral state,” Tusk said.
