On January 17, the European Union lifted restrictions on the imports of poultry products from Ukraine, which were in force since December 2020 due to bird flu. Earlier the EU recognized the zoning procedure for Ukraine for highly pathogenic avian influenza. Restrictions applied to quarantine areas where disease cases were detected, while products from uninfected regions were allowed to be exported to the EU. According to the gov.ua, all the restrictions have been lifted in full.
