The development of the Energy Storage Systems law will increase the stability of the electricity supply.

 In the second reading, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted a bill, (№5436-d), which defines the basic functioning of energy storage systems (SNE) in Ukraine. This law aims to ensure the use of energy storage systems, balance the energy system’s operation, and increase the stability of the consumer electrical supply. The document will regulate the licensing of energy storage activities and create a new participant in the electricity market – the operator of the energy storage system, reported ukrinform.
