The Czech Republic is working on a pilot project for the voluntary return of Ukrainian refugees, and Poland is planning to deprive refugees of benefits.

The Czech Republic will launch a pilot project that is scheduled to operate from June to November that will facilitate the voluntary return of Ukrainians to their homeland. It is emphasized that the project is unrelated to facilitating mobilization in Ukraine.

“We want to offer help to those who, for example, want to return home due to their health or family circumstances. This help will mostly consist of buying tickets, and in some particularly serious cases, for example, providing an ambulance,” reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Czech Republic.

Also, Poland plans to introduce a new system that will allow authorities to verify the stay of Ukrainian refugees and instantly suspend benefits for those who have left for another country.

The Government of Ireland, after reducing payments for newly arrived refugees in March, decided to reduce social payments from €220 to €38.80 for Ukrainians to whom the state provides housing, food, etc. This reduction will affect approximately 27,000 Ukrainians.
