The Czech Republic has transferred all its Soviet-style tanks to Ukraine.

Recently, Czechia completed the transfer of all its Soviet-style T-72M1 tanks to Ukraine after decommissioning them. The Czech Republic once possessed 86 T-72M1 tanks, which it inherited from the Czechoslovak Republic era. Some were eventually upgraded to the T-72M4 version, while the rest remained in their original configuration. However, following the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, they were repaired and then transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The T-72M1 tank is equipped with a 125 mm caliber gun that has a firing rate of eight rounds per minute. It is anticipated that the Czech Armed Forces will now receive Leopard 2A4 tanks.

Additionally, 30 representatives from Estonian defense companies visited Ukraine and met with Ukrainian officials, marking the largest trip Tallinn has organized to enhance cooperation in the defense industry and explore testing opportunities in a combat zone. The delegation included representatives from drone manufacturer KrattWorks, unmanned vehicle company Milrem Robotics, and surveillance systems provider Defsecintel Solutions.
