The creation of an economic Rammstein is reaching its final stage,
said IMF Deputy Director Vladyslav Rashkovan. According to him, economic Ramstein has three goals. The first is providing financial assistance to Ukraine next year (budget support). The second is coordinating economic policies, including those carried out by the IMF. And third, the planning of post-war reconstruction. Now we are at the final stage of coordinating this process, but the fact that we went through this path from July to December so quickly, and the Ukrainian proposal remained at the center of the idea, also demonstrates the strength and stability of our institutions and the ability of Ukraine to defend its position, Rashkovan noted. He specified that discussions are ongoing regarding where the secretariat will be located. Ukraine believes it should be in Kyiv, but a part must also be represented in Brussels.
