The construction area of new residential premises has grown by more than 50% annually.

According to the State Statistics Service, in the first quarter of 2025 construction in Ukraine rebounded, with 22,698 apartments totaling 1.4 million square meters built. Last year, during the same period, construction on 16,693 apartments with an area of 919,100 square meters began.
As a result, the number of apartments rose by 35% year-on-year, and the total housing area increased by nearly 52%. The Kyiv region led the new construction, with 9,292 apartments totaling 594,600 square meters built during the quarter.
Coming in second were builders from the Lviv region, who launched 3,067 new apartments covering 247,900 square meters in the first three months.
