The consequences of the latest Russian attacks: An Epicentr and a printing house in Kharkiv.

On May 25, Russia struck the Epicentr shopping center in Kharkiv with two guided aerial bombs (KABs). As a result, at least 16 people died and 43 were injured. According to the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, it is likely that the target of the attack was the mall itself, while many people were shopping.

“This is pure terrorism,” he emphasized.

Epicentr K management announced that the largest shopping center in Kharkiv, with a total area of 13,300 square meters, has been totally destroyed.

“If Ukraine had enough air defense and modern combat aircraft, such Russian strikes would simply be impossible,” President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

As it became known, more than 50,000 books were destroyed after the attack on the Faktor-druk printing house in Kharkiv on May 23, and at least three publishing houses were affected. Faktor-druk is one of the largest full-cycle printing complexes in Europe, where books from almost all Ukrainian publishing houses were printed, including 50% of all textbooks in Ukraine.

The owner of the printing house believes that the consequences of this blow will be felt by the entire Ukrainian book publishing industry.
