The commercial real estate market is recovering due to the return of IT companies.

According to the allbc agency, during the widespread blackouts people who usually worked from home moved to co-working spaces, where power generators provided electricity and internet access. As a result, the capital’s offices during the blackout period were almost filled. A temporary hype was created, leading to new locations opening. However, in January, when the situation stabilized and many issues with Ukraine’s power plants were resolved, the office space market returned to previous levels. At the same time, tenants have become more active in recent months. Demand is still high for ready-made offices – with renovations, furniture, diesel generators, and shelter. In addition, several IT companies that moved to western Ukraine began to return home to Kyiv. There are also many requests and proposals from non-profit and international organizations.
