BEB will assume the current powers of the Security Service and the State Tax Police. “According to the law, the Bureau of Economic Security is the central body of executive power, which is entrusted with the task of countering offenses encroaching on the functioning of the state economy. Its activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers,” the Presidential press service said.
