In an announcement from the central bank’s press service, the NBU Governor and his deputies briefed the representatives of the international diplomatic community on the progress and results achieved on important issues: cooperation with the IMF, strengthening the NBU’s institutional capacity and independence, improving corporate governance in banks, progress in the recovery of insolvent banks’ assets, and recent changes in Ukrainian banking legislation.
