The Belgians are completing the construction of a grain drying complex in Cherkasy.
The Granex-Cherkasy company is completing the construction of a grain drying complex with a capacity of up to 600 tons per day in the Cherkasy region, the developer of the ProjectLine project reported. In the future, the farm plans to complete the construction of an elevator providing 15,000 tons of simultaneous storage, a department for final grain cleaning, and a unit for loading vehicles.
Granex-Cherkasy was established in 2002 and specializes in cultivating cereals, oilseeds, potatoes, and onions on 450 irrigated hectares of the total land bank of 3,500 hectares under management. The enterprise has floor storage for potatoes with a capacity of 6,000 tons and vegetable storage for onions with a capacity of 2,000 tons. The main beneficiary of the enterprise is Belgian citizen Tom van Goey, and the manager is Wim de Schutter.
