The Armed Forces of Ukraine have stopped the Russian offensive in the Sumy region.

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the maximum depth of the fighting is currently seven km from the border of the Sumy region. However, the Russian advance in the region has been stopped, and the village of Andriivka is back under the control of the Ukrainian military.
He added that Ukrainian troops have maintained their positions in the Kupyansk and Kharkiv directions, experiencing no territorial losses there. In the Luhansk direction, the threat has been contained, and in the Kostyantynivka direction (Donetsk region), Ukrainian forces are advancing along the highway. Zelenskyy also added that Ukrainian forces continue active operations in enemy territory in the Kursk direction.
At the same time, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha warned: “According to our intelligence, the Russian Federation has begun preparing strategic reserves, which means plans for combat operations not only in Ukraine. The allies need a full diplomatic mobilization to stop this war. This is not just a Ukrainian issue.”
