Switzerland has extended sanctions to another 200 Russian individuals and organizations.

Switzerland has approved sanctions against more than 200 individuals and legal entities “in connection with Russia’s serious violations of international law in Ukraine”, stated the Swiss Federal Council. The Federal Council has also stepped-up sanctions against Belarus, including new goods and financial services measures. The new restrictions concerning trade and economic sanctions are very similar to the measures already imposed by the EU and Switzerland on Russia.
