Sweden will allocate €22M annually for seven years as part of a new strategy for cooperation with Ukraine, stated the Minister for International Development and Cooperation of Sweden, Matilda Ernkrans. The Minister noted that this assistance would contribute to the development of a sustainable Ukrainian economy and a stable society. Also, Sweden’s position for not supplying weapons to Ukraine remains unchanged. The minister said: “Sweden has very strict rules and controls on arms exports, so there are no plans to supply weapons to Ukraine.”, reported Ukrinform.
