Sweden has announced its largest Ukrainian aid package, totaling $1.6B, while the Netherlands allocates €500M for drones.


This Swedish support package includes air defense systems, artillery, satellite communications, naval capabilities, machine guns, ammunition, and approximately 100 units of various types of equipment for servicing the air base. Sweden will also contribute about $465M to multilateral initiatives and coalitions within the framework of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine, as well as purchases from Ukrainian defense industrial enterprises.
Meanwhile, at a meeting of the Supreme Council of National Defence (CSAT) in Romania, European allies committed to continued Ukrainian military support.
Additionally, the Netherlands is providing Ukraine with €2B in accelerated aid, €500M of which will go toward drones to enhance Ukrainian military positions on the battlefield. Furthermore, the aid package will include air defense systems, ammunition, and naval equipment. An agreement has also been signed to deepen cooperation between the two countries’ industrial sectors.
