Sweden and Denmark will transfer $263.6M worth of CV90 IFVs to Ukraine.

On December 18, the defense ministers of Sweden and Denmark signed a joint declaration on transferring CV90 infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine. Initially, Denmark will provide DKK 1.8B ($263.6M), and Sweden will support procurement. The parties will work on procuring additional Stridsfordon 90 (CV90) machines.

Sweden has already handed over 50 CV90s to Ukraine. Ukraine and Sweden had previously agreed on the joint production of CV90s. The short term plans are to manufacture 1,000 Swedish IFVs.

In addition, the British company Babcock received a three-year contract from the Ukraine Ministry of Defense to maintain two mine countermeasures ships, the Cherkasy and the Chernigiv.

BAE Systems and AMS Integrated Solutions Ltd signed an agreement for direct specialized support of Ukrainian artillery systems. Artillery handed over by the UK will be repaired and serviced at AMS centers in Ukraine.

Moreover, Thales signed a memorandum with a Ukrainian company to develop the AeroDrone for the needs of Ukraine’s military.
