Slovakia is ready but has not yet sent MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine; this issue was discussed in detail with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Rostyslav Kacher. Kacher clarified that the country is currently talking with NATO partners about how to go about this. “I think a Ukrainian delegation will come to Slovakia in the coming weeks, and we, together with our American friends, will work to make it a reality,” Kacher added. The diplomat added that on December 7, Slovakia approved the provision of several thousand missiles used in the MiG-29 to Ukraine.
