Since introducing the “Google tax” in Ukraine, the state budget has received ₴10.2B.

According to a special committee of the Ukrainian Parliament, 98 non-resident providers of digital services have paid this tax in Ukraine. They paid ₴4.3B in 2022 and ₴5.9B in 2023 (as of October 1).

The largest VAT payers on digital services are Google, Google Play, and Netflix, whose payment volumes show positive dynamics. Their payments in July-September increased (in foreign currency) compared to April-June by 5% and amounted to €21M.

Fenix International Limited, the service provider for the adult entertainment content service  OnlyFans, paid almost $1M in VAT this year (in 2022 – $889,500).

The declaration campaign by non-residents for the third quarter of 2023 is underway. Based on the 15 declarations submitted on October 17, a significant increase in VAT charges for digital services may occur.
