Russia continues to terrorize non-combatant regions of Ukraine with air attacks.
In the early morning hours of August 15, the enemy attacked the city of Dnipro, damaging an industrial enterprise and civilian infrastructure. Russia also attacked Western Ukraine. A rocket reached Lutsk and hit a production plant of the world’s largest manufacturer of industrial bearings – the Swedish company SKF. As a result, three people died, and three more were injured.
Moreover, several rockets reached the Lviv region, damaging residential apartment buildings. In all, 100 apartments suffered damage, and a kindergarten was also damaged, injuring four people. Also, 40 private houses were destroyed in the strike, and 19 people, including a child, were injured. In total, six Russian missiles reached their targets in the Lviv region.
The spokesman for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that air defenses managed to shoot down 16 out of 28 cruise missiles. He emphasized that Ukraine needs more air defense equipment to destroy more rockets on their approach to their targets. In total, in one night, eight regions of Ukraine came under Russian attack.
