Russia attacked Kharkiv and Kherson, damaged ships, and caused oil leaks into the Dnipro river.

After the Russian shelling of the port of Kherson, oil products leaked into the Dnipro waters from one of the affected ships. According to local authorities, Russian shells damaged the fuel storage of one of the foreign ships at the seaport, causing a leak. However, the ship’s crew was able to localize the oil spill on their own. During the day, the Russian invaders shelled the Kherson region 42 times including 13 strikes on the city of Kherson. As a result of the shelling three people died and eight were injured. In addition, on the evening of January 29 the terrorist state hit a residential building in Kharkiv, killing one and wounding three people, said Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
