Retail development continues across Ukraine with new openings and opportunities.


The Chernihiv Hollywood Mall has signed lease agreements with two international network operators. Polish brand HalfPrice will soon open its first regional store in Ukraine outside of cities with populations over a million at the shopping center. The network specializes in selling products from well-known brands at discounted prices. One of Europe’s largest shoe retailers, Polish SSC, will also open a location in the new shopping center.
Additionally, Polish clothing brand Sinsay recently opened a store, measuring 700 square meters, in the Port City shopping center in city of Lutsk, which is the largest shopping mall in Volyn, covering 64,000 square meters.
Meanwhile, Kyiv developer A Development plans to launch the White Lines shopping center in Kyiv in early 2026. This year, the company invested ₴1.5B in constructing two shopping centers in the capital. The occupancy rate at White Lines has already surpassed 60%. The development’s estimated value is over $50M.
Also, a new Megabud hypermarket recently opened in Mykolaiv; the company mainly targets professional contractors and construction firms but is also open to private customers.
