Real estate developers are reorienting their businesses to the regions.

According to the director of Intergal-Bud, the company had a sales boom in Chernivtsi in 2022. In 2023, the company raised prices for apartments in its facilities in Chernivtsi, and sales plans were exceeded by 100-200%.

Uzhhorod is also mentioned among the western regions where a surge in housing demand was observed. There is a demand for housing in Zhytomyr, and the company plans to build several new facilities there. Vinnytsia’s eastern and central regions are potentially interesting for large developers because the cost of land is significantly lower than in Kyiv or Lviv, and construction costs are approximately the same in all regions, said the director.

The top manager of the investment company De Costa Group said it is currently planning construction in areas such as Dnepropetrovsk that were not considered before because the company has mostly operated in Kyiv.
