The parliamentarians of several states signed a joint statement on the urgent need to modernize Ukraine’s air defense, stated the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk. “Thanks to our friends, parliamentarians of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Poland, France, Georgia, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Sweden, Great Britain, and the United States have signed a joint statement that will help to modernize Ukraine’s air defense,” wrote Stefanchuk. “In particular, by supplying anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons, we can support the military and civil defense of Ukraine – to ensure the protection of our airspace and to stop the movement of enemy equipment on the territory of Ukraine,” he added.
