Previously trapped in Ukrainian ports, two more ships have left through the temporary sea corridor.

As the Ministry of Infrastructure reported, the bulk carriers Anna-Theresa (Liberia flag) and Ocean Courtesy (Marshall Islands) departed from the Southern port in the direction of the Bosphorus. On board the ships are 56,000 tons of pig iron and 172,000 tons of iron ore concentrate. Both ships entered the Ukrainian port before the start of the full-scale Russian invasion: the Anna-Theresa on February 22, 2022, Ocean Courtesy on February 16, 2022.

It should be noted that four ships have already used the route established by Ukraine. The container ship Joseph Schulte and the bulk carrier Primus were the first to utilize this route on August 16 and 27.
