Poland will accelerate the delivery of drones to the Ukrainian front.
Beginning April 27, the export of drones from Poland to Ukraine can be carried out based on general permission granted by the Minister of Development and Technology of Poland. Therefore, any commercial, non-profit organization or individual in Poland can use this permit. Introducing a general permit eliminates the need to obtain an individual permit to export each batch of drones.
At the same time, the permit applies only to a certain category of drones. Namely, drones that are intended for controlled flight beyond the operator’s direct line of sight, with a maximum duration of at least 30 minutes but less than 1 hour, and intended for takeoff and maintenance. The drones must be capable of stable, controlled flight in wind gusts of at least 46.3 km/h.
The permit will not be granted if the exporter knows the drones may carry chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons.
