Poland, Slovenia, and Japan continue their efforts to support Ukraine.

Polish businesses are applying to the Polish State Development Bank (BGK) for preferential loans to invest in Ukraine’s reconstruction and modernization projects, including roads, energy networks, and industrial facilities. The program’s total budget is PLN 250M ($55.25M), with a maximum loan of PLN 10M at 2% annually.
Meanwhile, Ukraine and Slovenia have agreed on new recovery projects in housing and communal services for frontline regions. These include water supply, energy efficiency, and infrastructure development. They also plan Slovenian company involvement in rebuilding damaged housing, developing renewable energy, and waste management. Slovenia is already active in the Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, and Mykolaiv regions, particularly in the construction of medical facilities.
Additionally, Japan will continue supporting Ukraine through the Emergency Recovery and Reconstruction Project until 2027, focusing on housing for internally displaced persons, accessibility, recycling waste from destruction, transport infrastructure recovery, and energy.
