Poland proposes the creation of an international tank coalition for Ukraine.
A new global coalition will be formed to help Ukraine with modern tanks and military equipment in the event that Germany does not supply Kyiv with Leopard tanks, said Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. “Ukraine and Europe will win this war with or without Germany,” he noted, commenting on the contact group’s meeting to discuss the provision of military aid to Ukraine within the Rammstein format. He emphasized that Poland will not passively observe Ukraine’s bleeding. Moraiwecki added that Germany does not need to use all its resources to help Ukraine, it can provide only a small percentage of its weapons and military equipment, which would still provide benefit to Ukraine’s efforts. “The enemy is in the East, and we waste time on discussions that do not bring anything in results,” Moraiwecki summarized.
