In 2021, Polish consulates in Ukraine issued 760,900 working visas to Ukrainians due to the high demand for labor. The number of visas given to Ukrainians last year increased by 32.6% compared to 2020 (was around 512,000). However, it did not reach the record level of 2019 – when almost 900 thousand visas were issued by the Polish Government. More than 99% of all issued documents are national visas (type C). According to the latest estimates, around 1.5-2 million Ukrainians live in Poland.
