PM Shmygal endorses dual citizenship in Ukraine.

Millions of people of Ukrainian origin live abroad, many of them would love to get dual citizenship, the Prime Minister says. “I’ll share my personal view with you. Dual citizenship is a sign of a civilized country. In many civilized countries, dual citizenship is a common thing”, he said. According to Prime Minister, currently, the Parliament considers several draft laws that focus on this matter. At the same time, he insisted that dual citizenship with the aggressor state is unacceptable. President Volodymyr Zelensky also upheld the idea of the introduction of dual citizenship for Ukrainians who live abroad.
