Plans for a high-speed train service from Kyiv to Warsaw.

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and its counterpart in Poland are preparing to launch a high-speed rail service on the Kyiv-Warsaw route, (Ukrinform). “The Polish government supports our idea, and we have the same approach”, said Minister of Infrastructure, Olexandr Kubrakov. He added that the plan is to launch trains with a speed of 250 km/h and more on the route. According to the Minister, the development of a preliminary feasibility study of the project is currently underway.
