Oschadbank will join in the construction of a 520 MW wind power plant in western Ukraine.
The state bank will take part in implementing a project from the Friendly Wind Technology company to construct a wind farm with a capacity of 520 MW in the west of Ukraine, said the deputy chairman of the board of the bank, Yurii Katsion. In particular, the bank will partially finance the construction of 100 wind turbines.
“The project will be implemented jointly with large commercial companies and private investors,” Katsion clarified.
He emphasized that the bank’s partner is a national wind energy equipment manufacturer, “about whom the president and government representatives spoke at the Made in Ukraine platform presentation.” The details of project implementation are currently being worked out.
The experience of Oschadbank in financing green energy projects already includes more than 833 MW of installed capacity at a cost of more than €890M.
