One of Ukraine’s largest woodworking enterprises exports products for French winemakers and has continued to develop during the war.

Wood International from Khust (Transcarpathia region) manufactures oak rivets (a barrel fastening component) and alternative products for aging wine, spirits, and beer. The primary sales market for the company’s products is in France. It was possible to establish a partnership network because of the high quality of the company’s products, which are oriented to international standards.

Currently, the company has about 150 employees and processes about 2,000 cubic meters of wood every month, ensuring the export of about 500 cubic meters of finished rivets per month.

Wood International is one of the ten largest woodworking companies in Ukraine and is the only manufacturer of rivets of this scale in Ukraine. Despite the military challenges (problems with logistics and supply stability), the company continues to grow.
