On the third anniversary of the Russian invasion, Ukraine’s allies have committed to provide multi-billion-dollar support.

Ukraine’s allies, who either arrived in Kyiv or participated online in a summit marking the third anniversary of the Russian invasion, have announced that they are increasing their support. Among the announcements from heads of state and government:
- Spain will provide a new €1B military assistance package within a year and will participate in the reconstruction effort.
- Sweden, as part of its 18th military assistance package, is allocating €100M for the purchase of air defense systems.
- Canada will supply Kyiv with equipment including additional 25 LAV III infantry fighting vehicles, F-16 flight simulators, and millions of rounds of ammunition, along with $3.5B from a loan backed by proceeds from frozen Russian assets.
- Norway will allocate €3.5B for our country this year, including €300M invested in Ukrainian industry.
- Britain will provide Ukraine with its largest military aid package, valued at £4.5B.
- Denmark will allocate approximately €269M to enhance Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
EU leaders plan to hold an extraordinary summit on March 6, where they will decide on further military and financial support for Ukraine and how best to reinforce the EU’s defense capabilities.
