Non-residents are withdrawing from Ukrainian securities due to military tensions.

 Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal states that due to pressures and escalation from Russia, non-residents are leaving Ukrainian securities. “This escalation of aggression and the special focus on this issue have affected and continue to affect the economic situation in Ukraine”, added Shmyhal. At the same time, the Prime Minister stressed that both the macro-financial assistance of the European Union and economic support programs from the United States would help ensure that the  2022 budget implementation will commence, and the Ukrainian fi situation will be stabilized.
