New Zealand will provide Ukraine with another package of military support.
New Zealand will send 66 military instructors to train Ukrainian servicemen in Great Britain, the country’s Ministry of Defense reported. It is noted that there are currently 135 servicemen of the New Zealand Armed Forces in Great Britain and Europe. This number includes 120 servicemen undergoing training as part of Operation Interflex, conducted by Great Britain to train Ukrainian recruits. “Military personnel are conducting a five-week basic infantry combat course designed to increase survival and reduce casualties on the battlefield,” the Defense Ministry emphasized. Currently, the second group of Ukrainian soldiers is training with the New Zealand instructors. The first group of over 320 people returned to Ukraine and have been sent to the battlefield.
