New German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has promised to continue military support for Ukraine,

coordinating Germany’s efforts with European partners and the US.
“We are doing this in order to put an end to this war,” he said, adding that discussions on specific arms supplies would no longer be held publicly.
At the same time, the US approved the transfer of more than 200 missiles from Germany to Ukraine, including 125 long-range munitions for HIMARS systems and 100 missiles for Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems.
Britain is supplying Ukraine not only with real military equipment, but also with dozens of realistic dummies meant to deceive the Russian army, forcing it to waste resources.
Also, France will use the proceeds from frozen Russian assets to service the Caesar self-propelled artillery systems that have been supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. So far, Paris has already handed over about 60 Caesars to Kyiv.
Meanwhile, Dutch industry is working on a plan to launch satellites to provide intelligence information to Ukraine.
However, the winner of the first round of the Romanian presidential election, far-right politician George Simion, said that he expects compensation for the Patriot system that was transferred to Ukraine.
