New business registration in Ukraine decrease by 25%.
During October-November, slightly more than 33,000 FOP (sole proprietorships) and almost 55,000 legal entities were registered in Ukraine, according to YouControl Market research. Indicators fell by 26% for FOPs and by 40% for companies against the same period last year. During that time, about 90,000 companies and 44,500 individual entrepreneurs were registered. The largest number of new businesses were opened in Kyiv, where about 2,000 companies and 5,000 sole proprietorships were registered in two months. Most often, newly created private enterprises chose wholesale and retail trade as their type of activity, with 27% and 36%, respectively. At the same time, there was an increase in registration of new IT companies. Almost 20% of FOPs and 5% of enterprises chose this field among the new entries.
