NATO countries will provide Ukraine with €40B in 2025.
NATO member countries will announce that they will provide Ukraine with €40B in funding during the next year at the Alliance summit in Washington, the White House said. As well, NATO also plans to provide constant security assistance to enable Ukraine’s victory. The US fully supports these efforts.
“Our contributions to Ukraine to fulfill this promise will come from funds already allocated by Congress in the national security amendment that President Biden signed in April,” the White House added.
It should be noted that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg took the initiative to provide Ukraine with €40B in funding next year.
The Biden administration also reported that the Washington summit will strengthen NATO’s relations with Ukraine, as the members of the Alliance are gathering for the second meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council at the level of leaders. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with the leaders of the Alliance to discuss further support for Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.
