More military support for Ukraine: new packages from the US and Germany, $14M for ammunition from Denmark, and the first Leopard is repaired by Poland.
The White House has announced an upcoming US aid package to Ukraine, and Finland is also working on a new tranche of support.
As part of the new package, Germany handed over to Ukraine 14 Bandvagn 206 all-terrain vehicles, Biber bridge-builders, radio equipment for Leopard tanks, etc.
Denmark announced it will contribute 100 million Danish kroner to a joint European ammunition order for Ukraine.
Poland has delivered the first Leopard tanks repaired at the Bumar-Labedy plant to Ukraine. The country will repair Soviet and Polish tanks domestically, as well as Leopard 2A4, within the framework of a joint project between Bumar-Labedy and Ukroboronprom.
Meanwhile, the Australian defense technology company Electric Optic Systems will manufacture and deliver 10 Slinger anti-drone systems to Ukraine by the end of the year.
Also, the Turkish arms manufacturer Canik has delivered more than 600 large-caliber machine guns to Ukraine worth $10M.
