Military aid to Ukraine: one million shells, €1B in loans from Poland, and €100M from Belgium.
The participants of the Czech initiative to purchase artillery ammunition for the needs of Ukraine signed an agreement under which our country will receive one million rounds of ammunition. Initially, the goal was to buy 800,000 shells, but Czech government officials found an additional 200,000. Ukraine will probably be able to receive the first batches of ammunition in April.
Meanwhile, Poland will provide Ukraine with a loan of at least €1B to purchase weapons for the military.
In turn, the Council of Ministers of Belgium approved the provision of €100M in military aid to Ukraine for the maintenance of F-16 combat aircraft.
Also, the US asked Turkey to increase the supply of explosives, in particular TNT, to produce 155 mm ammunition, which Ukraine urgently needs. Potentially, Turkish supplies of explosives could triple the production of projectiles.
The British company Evolve Dynamics, which has already supplied Ukraine with about 100 Sky Mantis reconnaissance drones, seeks to improve them and make them resistant to radio-electronic warfare.
