Last week, Zelenskiy made it clear that he does not want to be president of a country that is a bedroom community for migrant workers building Eastern Europe. “Nine million Ukrainians have left the country,” he said on 1+1 TV’s Right to Power show. “It is a shame. It is a nightmare. We didn’t keep the most valuable we have — people. The rest that we own — plants, enterprises, experts — who are they for, if in five years another half of the population moves out of the country?”
