Japan has approved a new package of sanctions against Russia and Belarus

As Russia intensifies its attacks on Ukraine with Belarus, which is “obviously involved,” Japan will ban the export of oil refining equipment to Russia and dual-use items to Belarus. These dual-use items are technologies that can be used in the defense industry.
