In one of its most brutal and bloody attacks yet, Russia struck a children’s hospital in Kyiv, an industrial enterprise in Kryvyi Rih, as well as other cities and regions.
On the morning of July 8, Kyiv and other cities in Ukraine were hit by eight missiles out of the 38 launched by the terrorist state. A Russian rocket hit the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in the center of Kyiv, killing several people and wounding dozens, including children.
Also, in the attack one of the rockets hit a residential high-rise, destroying a section of the building entirely. As a result of falling debris, another medical center building was partially destroyed. Three DTEK transformer substations and power grids in Kyiv were destroyed or damaged.
In addition to Kyiv, Russian terrorists also attacked the cities of Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih (10 dead), Slov’yansk, Kramatorsk, and Pokrovsk. One Russian missile hit the Northern Mining and Processing Plant administrative building.
In total, 31 people died, and another 125 people were injured. In Kyiv, 21 people died and 65 were wounded.
Ukraine initiated an emergency meeting with the UN Security Council following the attack.
