In October, Ukraine increased the import of dairy products by almost 30%.

In October, 6,080 tons of dairy products were imported into Ukraine, 27.8% more than in September and 35% more than in October 2022. It is noted that growth is recorded in all categories, but the largest import volume is occupied by cheeses – 3,200 tons. In addition, over the past month, butter imports have doubled to 619 tons, the highest figure since November 2021.

In total, 48,890 tons of dairy products were imported in 10 months of 2023, which is 6.1% less than in the same period last year, but at the same time, the value indicator is 11.3% higher ($210.2M).

As for export volumes, they remain stable for the second month in a row – 8,250 tons, which is the same indicator as last year. The value indicator decreased by 19% and is $226.94M.
