In 2025, which professionals will be in demand in the Ukrainian labor market?
Labor analysts predict that the demand for builders and various types of skilled workers (locksmiths, mechanics, electricians, etc.) will remain high in 2025 as the shortage of personnel in production will only grow. The construction sector will continue to demonstrate stable demand given the need to restore the country’s infrastructure.
In the agribusiness sector, there will be a need to demine tens of thousands of hectares of fields, so the demand for sappers will increase, and these workers will become full-time employees in agricultural companies. As well, the need for agronomists, veterinary specialists, and farm management experts will only rise.
The manufacturing sector will increasingly switch to new technologies, creating opportunities for equipment and machine operators, as well as automation and robotics specialists.
A separate area of development will be the defense-industrial complex, which will require specialists for developing, producing, and maintaining military equipment (design engineers, technologists, and IT specialists).
The demand for specialists in the energy and healthcare sectors will also increase.
