Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, told the BBC on Wednesday. Hours later, on Thursday morning, the Health Ministry announced a record daily death toll for the one-year-old pandemic: 363. Daily new infections hit 16,669, a record for the pandemic in Ukraine. Yesterday also saw record number of hospitalizations: 5,438.
