Government support for the agro-industrial complex should be at 1% of GDP.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Roman Leshchenko, said, “We have already defended the position of ₴4.6 bln ($174 mln) for the agro-industrial complex (for 2022). We are in dialogue with the Ministry of Finance to bring state support to 1% of GDP”, said Leshchenko said. The support is valued at ₴8-9 bln ($342 mln), which should be allocated to the agricultural sector.
