Global Ocean Link has launched 25,000 tons of additional storage capacity at Ukraine’s deepest container terminal.

The logistics company continues to develop its capabilities. In February, two new warehouses for the storage and accumulation of cargo opened at the TIS terminal (Odesa). Notably, this terminal is Ukraine’s deepest and one of the most technologically advanced. The general contractor is Karkas Group, which has experience building similar hangars in nearby ports, specifically in Izmail and Chornomorsk. The modern warehouse facilities offer reliable storage, transshipment, and reloading of grain, fertilizers, and other moisture-sensitive cargo directly on the terminal grounds.

The new warehouse facilities feature:

  1. a total capacity of 25,000 tons
  2. a humidity and temperature control system
  3. three railway access tracks

Simultaneous processing of three vessels at three berths enables efficient cargo handling of any complexity. The terminal can accommodate up to 200 trucks and up to 50 railway wagons per day.
