Global food prices increased by 40% yoy,

After a 5% jump in May over April, the FAO Food Price index increased by 121.7 points, just short of a record high hit a decade ago. In Ukraine in April, prices of eggs increased by 90% yoy, vegetable oil increased by 63%, and the price for sugar increased by 65% yoy.
